Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!!
I have plenty this year to be thankful for. I'm married to the love of my life, I got a precious gift from heaven (this year) who is healthy (a plus) ..and sweet!!! I have a roof over my head with heat to escape the cold, I have a car that works, we have work to pay the bills and last but not least ( to the contrary) I have a heavenly father who loves me and adopted me where I can call him father!!! ..because he is my father!!! ..and he guides me with his rod and staff because he loves me more then I can imagine. He dug me out of a pit that I could have never gotten out of on my own! And now he gave me a sweet little family that I am so grateful for! He loves to give gifts to his children!
I'm sure you also have plenty to be thankful for other then having free land. :)

Wow! My last post declared an "I can't believe it ...I'm married!" Well now I say "I can't believe it ..my last blog post I've written was in January!" I will make this short for now for all you faithful post watchers that haven't given up on me yet. :) So, I sit here while I watch my sweet gift (truly from Heaven) graciously sleep. She is so beautiful and I thank God often for her and for my awesome husband!!! He and she was well worth the wait ...for all those single years and painful contractions! But, I wanted to let you all know I haven't forgotten about you and I hope to start blogging again. I've learned a lot this year. And God my father (as always) has been continually faithful to keep me, feed me, and hold my hand and lead me. Adjusting to marriage, keeping a home, and now adjusting to being a mama (and what all that entails) I have been busy and out of touch with my blog writing. But now that adjusting seems to come more naturally I think I can add another thing to my list and begin writing again. :) I love to anyway. It's getting late so I'll close this for now but I hope to be back soon and give you a real update from back when up to now. Love you all and we'll see you soon. Oh yes, and I'll start posting pictures again. :)
..be back soon!
..be back soon!

We need to stamp this truth on our hearts!
“The one concern of the devil is to keep Christians from praying. He fears nothing from prayerless studies, prayerless work and prayerless religion. He laughs at our toil, mocks at our wisdom, but trembles when we pray.”
...This is so true and I have witnessed it multiple times first hand!!! God can move and has moved mountains in my (..or your) prayers.
Love you all!
Because of Him,
~Jessica

Food for thought..
Why did Jesus calm the storms?? Just to show us he can? or to show us he can calm any storm in our life now and ALWAYS? I believe the latter is why.
I heard something recently that I believe is a "revelation and a half" from God! When we give into fears were just putting faith into the lies of the devil. We may feel giving into fears will help us be able to prepare for the worst. LIE!!! Were to have our eyes fixed on Jesus in daily trusting and daily giving thanks in all things!! And the time we need extra amounts of grace then God will supply it. Not because we're ready for it but because He is!! In our selves we can do nothing (Even as Christ admitted) but we can do all things in Christ who strengthens us!!
These truths inspire me to no end!!! Gods truth truly sets free!
