Happily ever after...

This is a poem the Lord gave to a dear brother at our mission fellowship recently. It was such a blessing, so I thought I'd share it with you all! I hope it blesses you in whatever trials you may be going through!

~THE TRAIL UP AHEAD~

"High mountains to cross, a looming ahead,
Valleys between them with skys all of lead.
Strength is much needed and courage from God,
Stark and so lonely the trail often trod.

On mountain tops clear, air drops awaken,
Notions of conquest, heights can be taken.
Ecstatic new thoughts with sun radiant hues,
Say joy and new hope may harvest their dues.

Down in the valley we see the trail wind,
Where breeze oft is not and mud and feet bind.
So heavy the air and marshy the plain,
Must souls all descend to find no real gain?

By faith we can see our Savior so dear,
Oh glory to God, the trail now is clear.
Standing ahead on summit so high,
Or flowering lily in valleys so nigh.

We can not stumble, nor falter or moan,
Here ne'er did utter complaints neither groan.
In heights or valleys He will be my guide,
He always is close, so close to my side.

Cheer up then my brother, leave no worries and care,
Let's show the whole world that Jesus is there.
Envision the summit and no longer dally,
He colors your skys and lilys your valley."

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Here I sit on the veranda over looking a beautiful panoramic view of mountains and valleys and it gives you an on top of the world feeling! I'm up here because we have a nice big Butterball turkey (Thanks to Jr. Troyer!) awaiting us to dig into tomorrow! It was donated to us so that we can celeberate Thanksgiving this weekend. I know it's next weekend but it's most convenient for all of us this weekend. Jr. said since we can't spend the holiday with our family n friends back at home then he wanted us to at least have the joy doing it here among our fellow family in Christ! So, Tash and I will spend the night up here at Danny and Marlyns and get our freezing torcherous ;) showers in the am since they only have one solar panel then all our friends plan to meet up here at Dannys for a big feast in the afternoon after church meeting.

Well, Tash has gone and come back from the states ...and all in one piece! I survived! And now I'm getting itchy to see all my loved ones, friends, and family back at home!!! I have less then a month to go!!! (The 11th of Dec)

Ill go for now! Adios you all  ;)
